How the RTAR Loop Works

A practical explanation of the Penguizz RTAR Loop — Read, Think, Answer, Recharge, Repeat — and why the server enforces every transition.

Read. Think. Answer. Recharge. Repeat.

Penguizz is built to keep kids focused while maintaining healthy boundaries. Each session follows the RTAR Loop — intentionally short, structured, and enforced by the server instead of the client.

The four stages

  1. Read Kids read one assigned passage with no distractions.
  2. Think + Answer Kids reflect on what they read, then answer quiz questions. The backend scores answers, so the client cannot spoof results.
  3. Recharge On pass, kids choose from parent-approved reward videos. Then a cooldown period kicks in — enforced by server time — which can include chore approvals.
  4. Repeat The loop starts again. Same rhythm, every session.

Tip: Use Recharge duration and pass thresholds per kid to personalize difficulty and pacing.

What parents control

  • Content and question quality
  • Playlist safety via a video allowlist
  • Per-kid thresholds and rest settings
  • Chore requirements during rest
